Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived a mighty lion. He was the king of the jungle, strong and fearsome. One sunny day, the lion was taking a nap under a shady tree. Suddenly, a tiny mouse scurried over his nose, waking him up with a start.
The lion roared with anger, ready to pounce on the little creature. But the mouse, quick as a flash, begged for mercy. “Please, mighty lion,” she squeaked, “Spare my life, and I promise to repay you one day.”
The lion chuckled, amused at the idea of a tiny mouse helping him. “How could a creature as small as you ever help me?” he asked. But he was a kind-hearted lion, so he let the mouse go.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s trap. He roared and struggled, but he couldn’t break free. Just then, the little mouse appeared. She quickly nibbled at the ropes of the trap, freeing the lion.
The lion was amazed. “You saved my life, little mouse!” he exclaimed. The mouse smiled and said, “Remember, even the smallest creature can be a hero.”
From that day on, the lion and the mouse were the best of friends, proving that kindness and friendship can come in any size.
